The 10th Southeast Asia Taekwondo Championships Support Activity

On April 07, 2011, the 10th Southeast Asia Taekwondo Championships was held at the Cambodia National Olympic Gymnasium. Eight Southeast Asian countries participated in the competition. The supporters from the Church of God in Cambodia took the lead in cheering on the athletes from different countries. Their wholehearted cheers graced the championship.

The Church of God members were united to make the earth cleaner and healthier through the love of the Passover. Their hands make every place in the world beautiful. The reason why the Church of God holds the Cleanup Campaign for the Passover simultaneously throughout the world is to meet the Passover, which God granted for the salvation of mankind, with more holiness and reverence.

2018 Winter Overseas Volunteer Service of ASEZ University Student Volunteer Group

ASEZ, the Church of God university student volunteer group making efforts to preserve the environment and raise people’s environmental awareness, continued its enthusiastic activities during the winter vacation. Between January and February, the students flew to 34 cities in 23 countries and proceeded with a variety of events to exchange cultures and enlarge their experiences.

Church of God Working Young Adult Volunteers: Voluntary Work All around the World

The Church of God Working Young Adult Volunteers were launched to practice the teaching of the Bible, “Be the salt and light of the world,” through worldwide volunteer services, and to spread Mother’s love to many places of the world. On Oct. 15, more than 6,100 working young adults around the world carried out different types of volunteer services such as environmental cleanups, aiding farm work, and helping senior citizens who live alone.

Earthquake Relief Efforts in Mexico

On Sept. 7, 2017, an 8.1-magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Chiapas in southern Mexico. In worst-hit Oaxaca, 12,000 homes had been damaged and more than 800,000 people became homeless. The people’s anxiety reached a peak as over 1,000 times of intense tremors continued until the morning of Sept. 11. The members from the Church of God in Mexico City and Puebla left to Juchitán in Oaxaca, a 10-hour drive away from Mexico City, carrying 1.5 tons of relief goods like rice, salt, and water.

Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts by the Houston Church in TX, U.S.

Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, U.S. The areas around Houston suffered a cataclysmic flood that might happen once in 500 years. The Church of God members in Houston immediately set out recovery work, following God’s words, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” A total of 420 members volunteered for nine days.

ASEZ the Church of God University Student Volunteers Summer Volunteer Abroad

ASEZ, the Church of God University Student Volunteers, carries out diverse projects on campus with faith and love, to protect the environment and to make a better world. Filled with knowledge in mind and passion in heart, they had a special vacation in many places of the world, working hard in one mind for a good cause. More than 250 Korean students flew to 33 cities of 23 countries to promote cultural exchange, and performed volunteer services with local students and members on a large scale.
